Developing Your Research Program in the Natural Sciences With Undergraduate Students Workshop

This workshop for graduate students and post-doctoral researchers will provide trainees with first-hand experience from established faculty and strategies for enhancing one’s research program within the context of undergraduate teaching and mentoring. In addition, the workshop will provide trainees with information about sources of funding and other resources to support their research with undergraduates.

Social Sciences Undergraduate Conference Awards Deadline

The Social Sciences Division of CUR is offering a limited number of grants, up to $200 each, for undergraduate students presenting the results of research that they have conducted at a regional or national, discipline-specific meeting (in person or virtually) during the academic year 2023-2024. In addition, two awards will be set aside for students attending an international conference.

Proposal Writing Institute 2024

This institute will bring together faculty and administrators interested in preparing proposals for submission to external funding agencies. The multi-day institute will consist of one-on-one work with a mentor, writing, small-group discussions, and critiquing of proposals. The institute has been developed to assist novice to experienced proposal writers in drafting complete proposals for submission.
