MARCUS is a presentation venue for undergraduate scholarship in all disciplines. Students who wish to present will have submitted the Presentation Application by the end of Wednesday, 10/8/2025, to be scheduled and included in the program. Presentation types are posters, talks, or elevator speeches. Pre-registration is required for admittance — including all student attendees, student presenters, faculty, mentors, and guests.

Student Research at IU East
IUE holds two special events to showcase students’ work and for the campus to celebrate their achievements: Fall Scholars Week and Spring Student Research Day. Presentations and posters validate their extraordinary efforts and inspire others to follow their paths of excellence in research, academia, and creative work. These celebrations provide an excellent opportunity for parents and families to visit campus and honor students’ scholarly growth & success.
