The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) recognizes its divisional award recipients for the first half of 2022. CUR’s community aligns across its thirteen divisions including, At-Large, Arts and Humanities, Biology, Chemistry, Education, Engineering, Geosciences, Health Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Sciences, Physics and Astronomy, Psychology, Social Sciences, and Undergraduate Research Programs.​

2021 Posters on the Hill Spotlights Exemplary Undergraduate Research Projects for Policymakers, Scholars, and the Public

On April 27–28, undergraduate students from colleges and universities in 42 states and the District of Columbia will participate in the 2021 Posters on the Hill event, sponsored by the Council on Undergraduate Research. In a virtual public poster session on April 28 from 2–4 pm ET, undergraduate researchers and their mentors from institutions such as Edmonds College and Grinnell College to Norwich University and Penn State University will share their research projects.

USF’s Collins Selected as 2020 CUR Geosciences Undergraduate Research Mentor Awardee

Jennifer Collins, professor in the School of Geosciences at the University of South Florida, has been selected as the 2020 CUR Geosciences Undergraduate Research Mentor Awardee.

New CUR Executive Board Members Elected

CUR announced the results of its recent Executive Board election. John Barthell, Donna Charlevoix, Niharika Nath, Karen K. Resendes, and Binod Tiwari will take their board seats in summer 2020.
