Biennial Conference 2014

The 16th CUR Biennial Conference will be in June 28-July 1, 2014 at The Reniassance Hotel in Washington, DC.
The 36th Annual Business Meeting will immediately precede the 2014 Biennial Conference.  Please check back for more details.

NCUR 2014

The mission of the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is to promote undergraduate research scholarship and creative activity done in partnership with faculty or other mentors as a vital component of higher education.
The University of Kentucky is proud to welcome the 28th National Conference on Undergraduate Research to its campus.

Conference of Research Experiences for Undergraduates Student Scholarship
The Council on Undergraduate Research would like to invite you to our third Conference of Research Experiences for Undergraduates Student Scholarship to be held October 27-28, 2013 at the Westin Arlington Gateway in Arlington, Virginia. This conference will feature keynote presentations, presentations by students from REU programs in all disciplines, sessions for REU students, faculty, and administrators, and opportunities to meet with representatives from the National Science Foundation and other government agencies.

Pre-ISSOTL Conference
Building on the successful meetings held prior to the ISSOTL conferences in Liverpool (2010), Milwaukee (2011), and Hamilton, Canada (2012) the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) will be again be offering a pre-conference symposium at the ISSOTL 2013 conference at Elon University in Raleigh, North Carolina on October 2, 2013. Registrants in this CUR session will receive a discount toward their ISSOTL registration. For detailed information on the 2013 event, please visit the information page.
Undergraduate Research Program Directors Conference
Held in odd years, this event brings together undergraduate research program directors to share best practices.  The call for proposals for the 2015 conference will be released in late 2014.  For details of the last conference, please visit the conference page.

Cancellation Policy

In general the cancellation deadline is thirty days prior to the start of the conference, except where explicitly noted.  Cancellations requests received in writing to the CUR National Office at cur@cur.org prior to the cancellation deadline will receive a full refund less a $50.00 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after the cancellation deadline. Transfer of registration to another individual before the cancellation deadline is free of charge, but subject to member classification charges due to differences in conference rates. Transfer of registration after the cancellation deadline will be charged a $50.00 transfer fee.

Institutions may not substitute one participant for another without prior approval of the National Office.

CUR always suggests that their registrants purchase low-cost travel insurance when booking their air reservations. Not only will this insurance cover your airfare in the event of cancellation but will also cover the registration cost for the meeting you were to attend.
