The purpose of the Program Review Committee is to provide external reviews of academic and institutional programs to campuses that request such review services. The Committee identifies and trains reviewers in order to provide quality control and general overview of the program.  Program review activities are coordinated through the relevant divisional representative on the Committee, and divisional reviews are coordinated through the Chair of the Committee. The Committee recommends fees, policies, and procedures for reviews to the Executive Board. The Committee provides data on review services to the National Office (including a roster of reviewers and information on all contacts concerning reviews).  Reviewers contract directly with the campus requesting the review and are independent contractors.  The results of the review do not represent the views of CUR, nor are the reports to be considered reports from CUR.
