CUR Conversation: Failure is Not a Word to Fear | September 15, 2022, 12:00 - 1:00 PM
How to respond to failure is a crucial skill set for any undergraduate researcher’s personal and professional success. No matter the discipline, engaging students in undergraduate research can provide an ideal opportunity to expose students to failure in an environment that offers the potential for support and scaffolding. Join us on September 15 at Noon, as the editors of Confronting Failure, Lisa Corwin, Louise Charkoudian, and Jennifer Heemstra, engage with your questions and share their impetus for this work, guiding themes from the book, and the six pressing questions that face all undergraduate educators, administrators, and educational researchers as we seek better understanding and design practices that support students when confronting failure.
