CUR holds an Annual Business Meeting (ABM) where the Executive Board and General Council participate in helping shape the future of CUR and undergraduate research.

REGISTRATION FEES:

The Annual Business Meeting registration fee is $250.

Registration rates include the following meals:

Thursday- dinner / Friday- breakfast and lunch / Saturday- breakfast only

COMMERCIAL TRAVEL SERVICES:

  • Air Travel - The nearest commercial airports are Indianapolis International (65 miles) and Chicago O’Hare (140 miles) and Chicago Midway (130 miles). The Purdue Airport accommodates privately owned planes.
  • Shuttle Services from Airports - Shuttle service is provided to and from Indianapolis by Lafayette Limo. Shuttle service to and from O’Hare is provided by Express Air Coach or by Reindeer Shuttle.
  • Other Commercial Travel - Amtrak and Greyhound also serve the area, stopping at a station in Lafayette. From there, visitors can ride Greater Lafayette's CityBus system to Purdue (about 1.5 miles).

ON-CAMPUS RESIDENTIAL HOUSING:

On-campus residential housing (i.e., dormitory) will be available for purchase. Please use the registration portal to request and pay for this option. Price includes bed linens and towels only.

CAMPUS SHUTTLES:

Limited shuttle service will be available to the off-campus host hotels to the meeting location only; not the residence halls.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

In general, the cancellation deadline is 30 days prior to the start of the conference, except where explicitly noted. Cancellations requests received in writing to the CUR National Office prior to the cancellation deadline will receive a full refund less a $50.00 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after the cancellation deadline. Transfer of registration to another individual before the cancellation deadline is free of charge but subject to member classification charges due to differences in conference rates. Transfer of registration after the cancellation deadline will be charged a $50.00 transfer fee.

Institutions may not substitute one participant for another without prior approval of the CUR National Office.

CUR always suggests that registrants purchase low-cost travel insurance when booking their air reservations. Not only will this insurance cover your airfare in the event of cancellation, but it will also cover the registration cost for the meeting.
