CUR holds an Annual Business Meeting where the Executive Board and General Council participate in helping shape the future of CUR and undergraduate research.

Registration Fees:

The Annual Business Meeting registration fee is $250.

Registration rates include the following meals:

Tuesday - dinner / Wednesday- breakfast and lunch / Thursday - breakfast only

*A $25 late fee will apply for registrations received after the May 31, 2019 (registration cut-off (date).

The Blackwell Inn has all your transportation needs covered. They proudly offer complimentary, prearranged airport transportation (based on availability) to and from John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) for our hotel guests. Contact their Concierge or Guest Services Representative at (614) 247-4050 or (866) 247-4003 to schedule your airport transportation at least 24 hours in advance. You may also schedule your airport transportation using their e-Concierge.

Overnight Valet Parking (BLACKWELL)

  • Overnight valet parking – $20

Oversized vehicles require a 24-hour notice and are subject to increased parking rates. Note that valet prices vary during special events, including football games, stadium concerts, and graduation; rates will be available the week of the event.

Self-Parking (BLACKWELL)

Self-parking is available in the Lane Avenue Parking Garage adjacent to the hotel. This is not a hotel-operated garage, and fees must be paid directly to the garage via electronic cashier each time a vehicle departs the structure. Note that there are no in-and-out privileges available for those self-parking.

The rates for the Lane Avenue Parking Garage are based on a 24-hour clock which resets daily at midnight.  

Note, that the garage operator reserves the right to charge more for special events with limited notice to The Blackwell Inn.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

In general, the cancellation deadline is 30 days prior to the start of the conference, except where explicitly noted. Cancellations requests received in writing to the CUR National Office prior to the cancellation deadline will receive a full refund less a $50.00 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after the cancellation deadline. Transfer of registration to another individual before the cancellation deadline is free of charge but subject to member classification charges due to differences in conference rates. Transfer of registration after the cancellation deadline will be charged a $50.00 transfer fee.
 
Institutions may not substitute one participant for another without prior approval of the CUR National Office.
 
CUR always suggests that registrants purchase low-cost travel insurance when booking their air reservations. Not only will this insurance cover your airfare in the event of cancellation, but it will also cover the registration cost for the meeting.
