  • Center for Undergraduate Research - University of Kansas

    The Center for Undergraduate Research seeks to transform undergraduate education through research. We do this by working with KU instructors and mentors to develop and promote curricula and models for mentoring; engaging and advising students in their development as researchers; and by providing campus-wide programs that celebrate undergraduate research at KU.

  • Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship - Georgia Regents University

    The Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship (CURS) supports faculty-led research and scholarly activity with undergraduates at Georgia Regents in a variety of ways including: faculty and student development activities, sponsoring the monthly student research brown bag seminars, assessing the impact of student research on campus and by offering student research grants. CURS also sponsors as Summer Scholars research program.

  • Diamond Research Scholars - Temple University

    The Diamond Research Scholars Program provides Temple undergraduates the opportunity to engage in a focused, mentored research or creative arts project during the summer and fall. The program requires that students participate in the two-day Undergraduate Research Institute, devote ten weeks during the summer to develop a research project in their area of interest under the direction of their faculty mentor, and complete the project during the fall semester while registered for an independent study/research course.

  • Grand Valley State University OURS - Grand Valley State University

    Undergraduate research, scholarship, and inquiry has been a tradition at GVSU since the founding of the GV State Colleges. The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship (OURS) was officially established in 2010. The mission of OURS is to establish comprehensive services and programs which support students in their pursuit of inquiry, creativity, scholarship, and research.

  • Lewis University Celebration of Scholarship - Lewis University

    On April 20, 2017, Lewis University will host the 6th Annual Celebration of Scholarship on its main campus in Romeoville, Illinois. With over 300 participants presenting their research, scholarly, and creative works, the theme for this year’s event is Discovering your Pathway to Excellence. The day of celebration will begin with a Plenary Session featuring a Keynote Address presented by U.S. Representative Bill Foster (D-IL). Through various venues, students and faculty from across the University will have the opportunity to share their scholarship, celebrate a milestone in their academic experience, and consider paths that remain to be explored in poster, concurrent session, creative works, and business plan presentations. The day will conclude with an awards ceremony followed by the opening of the Lewis University Phillip Lynch Theatre’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.   • Office for Undergraduate Research - University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill

    The Office for Undergraduate Research was established in 1999 to expand the opportunities for undergraduates to engage in research and mentored scholarship at UNC-Chapel Hill.

  • Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning - Northern Illinois Unversity

    The Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning (OSEEL) is dedicated to providing opportunities for undergraduates to engage in hands-on learning. Through OSEEL's undergraduate research, service projects, themed learning communities, and other high impact practices, NIU students will develop critical thinking, use creativity, and employ multiple communication strategies while applying their skills to real-world problems.

    The Undergraduate Research and Creative Works (URCW) Program encourages, supports, and promotes the establishment of collaborative partnerships between nurturing faculty mentors and enterprising students leading over time to the production of finished works suitable for publication, exhibition, or presentation in either professional or public forums.

    The Office of Undergraduate Research serves the Virginia Tech community by facilitating the engagement of undergraduates in authentic research experiences in all areas of scholarship, especially those mentored by Virginia Tech faculty. The office offers services and support to enhance the undergraduate research experience by helping students find research opportunities, promoting dissemination of student research, providing data and programmatic support for grant-sponsored undergraduate research programs, and ensuring compliance with university and federal regulations and policies.

  • Undergraduate Research Opportunities Center - California State University, Monterey Bay

    The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Center (UROC) at California State University, Monterey Bay is a cross-campus center that engages students in undergraduate research. UROC works to build students’ educational ownership, intellectual vibrancy, and scholarly identity. We achieve this through mentored undergraduate research; rigorous, authentic, and calibrated scholarly activities; and the development of social capital.
