Memphis Means Music

Student Plaza (next to the fountain) on the U of M campus
$10, includes dinner, entertainment, and transportation to hotel

Music fans know Memphis as the “Home of the Blues” and the “Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll.”  Barbecue aficionados know that nothing quite compares to Memphis barbecue.  Experience both the Memphis music and food scene with a barbecue buffet and concert featuring Sound Fuzion, the contemporary student music ensemble from the University of Memphis.  Sound Fuzion includes nine singers, a five-piece rhythm section, two audio engineers, and a performance and marketing/media coordinator. Their repertoire includes all forms of contemporary music, including current and classic pop, rock, country, and R&B.

The evening’s lineup will also feature a few of the many talented student artists who write and play their own music.
