Mick Healey joins Centre for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CALT) at University College London, UK

Dear Colleagues
We’re very keen to appoint to two permanent positions in the Centre for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CALT) here at UCL – A Principal Teaching Fellow and a Senior Teaching Fellow.
Both posts are linked to the implementation of our major ‘Connected Curriculum’ initiative, which is an integral part of our Institutional Strategy till 2034:
"At University College London, our top strategic priority for the next 20 years is to close the divide between teaching and research. We want to integrate research into every stage of an undergraduate degree, moving from research-led to research-based teaching." ProfMichael Arthur, President and Provost, UCL, 30 April 2014: 22
We’re delighted to say that Prof Mick Healey has accepted a Visiting Professor appointment at UCL to advise on and support the development of the programme, and we have great ambitions to transform education at UCL to become genuinely research-based and truly world-leading, with the full and active support of the Senior Management Team.
The two post holders will make a leading contribution to this initiative, working alongside CALT’s seven existing Senior and Principal Teaching Fellows and with our team of academic ‘secondees’ from a wide range of subject disciplines. Links to further details are below – please circulate to any of your wider networks or colleagues who may be interested. Many thanks.
Principal Teaching Fellow
Senior Teaching Fellow
All good wishes
Dr Dilly Fung PFHEA
Director, Centre for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CALT)
