CUR's Education Division has selected Allison Lundy, a third-year student in psychology and early childhood education at Eastern Connecticut State University, as its 2019 Student-Faculty Collaborative Research in Education Awardee. Lundy's project will focus on "Effects of Outdoor Motor Play on Young Children's Attention and Self-Regulation in Their Classroom Behaviors," which is part of her interest in the role of play in young children's development. Lundy will receive $250 and will be mentored by ECSU professor emeritus Jeffrey Trawick-Smith.
