Description: EPub The authors developed a set of undergraduate research (UR) learning outcomes that address research and mentoring across campus. Achievement is assessed at annual, institution-wide UR events by employing a poster presentation evaluation rubric and deploying grad students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty as ad hoc raters. Student participants in the one-semester funded and mentored UR program performed significantly higher on four quantified learning outcomes than did nonparticipants.
