2019 Posters on the Hill

Washington, DC

Applications can now be submitted for CUR's 23rd annual Posters on the Hill event in Washington, DC. This competitive event gives students the opportunity to showcase their research to congressional members, meet with their representatives, and learn about advocacy for undergraduate research. Applications will be accepted during fall 2018. The submission portal will open by October 1, 2018 and will close November 7, 2018 at 11:59 pm EST.

Each year, 60 top student research projects are selected out of hundreds of applications. Students and their faculty mentors will have the opportunity to present their research on Capitol Hill in spring 2019. 

The 2019 program and schedule will be made available closer to the event. Questions may be directed to Liz Hains, manager for student programs.

  • Application opens: by October 1, 2018
  • Application closes: November 7, 2018. Portal closes at 11:59PM EST.
  • Notification of selection: early February 2018
  • Posters on the Hill Event: To be determined based on 2019 Congresssional calendar
