NCUR 2020 Friday Night Big Event
A Night at the Museum
The Museum of the Rockies is home to a world-class collection of dinosaur fossils including extensive collections of Tyrannosaurus rex and Triceratops discovered right here in Montana. The museum also boasts the state-of-the-art Taylor planetarium, extensive historical artifacts from the northern Rocky Mountain region, and - for spring 2020 - a unique exhibit of live reptiles - Reptiles: the Beautiful and the Deadly. At the Night at the Museum you will be able to explore all of the museum's exhibits, watch real fossil preparation in progress, catch a show at the planetarium, and hear engaging presentations on topics ranging from Montana history, to paleontology, to reptile biology. A hearty barbecue buffet is included. Your NCUR 2020 experience won't be complete without a visit to the Museum.
