The CUR Nominations Committee will put forth a ballot for President-Elect, General Representative, and Secretary by March 1, 2017. All members of the General Council, which include elected Councilors and Emeritus Presidents in good standing, are eligible to vote and are asked to do so by April 1, 2017.​
This Week in Washington - November 28, 2016 Edition
Student submissions for this year's National Conference on Undergraduate Research are due on Fri, Dec 2, 2016. University of Memphis will host the conference on April 6-8, 2017. Faculty submissions are due Dec 9, 2016.
The Winter 2017 CUR Quarterly will examine how campuses have deployed new learning-space designs to promote and support undergraduate research. Sought are four to five articles of 2000–3500 words each on how learning-space designs were created and implemented, and how they affect student learning and outcomes.
This Week in Washington - November 21, 2016 Edition
CUR Fellows awards are presented at the biennial Conference to two CUR members who have influenced undergraduate research through their own research, through scholarly or creative projects with undergraduates, and through demonstrated leadership activities.
NSF grant will support five-year project to create cohesive, research-based curricula in biology, chemistry, physics, and psychology

CUR Councilors compose the governing body of CUR. We are always looking for new councilors willing to devote some of their time and creativity to inventing new programs and providing services.
