Big Ideas Start at Crazy

Creativity and Innovation for the Future

Kris Kimel, CEO and Founder of KY Space, KY Science and Technology Center, and IdeaFestival, will talk about creativity and innovation for the future. The event will be held at the Lexington Center in the Bluegrass Ballroom from 7:00-9:00 pm.  The dinner menu will feature popular Kentucky menu items with locally-sourced ingredients.

Cost
Students: $20
Faculty and staff: $35 

Tickets may be purchased at the on-site Registration table in the Registration Center, Student Center Ballroom.

Be sure to catch the free RocKats concert immediately following the dinner in Triangle Park (weather permitting), just outside the Lexington Center.  Shuttles will be provided back to hotels after the concert. 
 

Menu

SALAD
Mixed greens on a bed of limestone bibb with cornbread croutons, candied pecans
and red peppers accompanied by a champagne and red pepper vinaigrette dressing
 
ENTREE
4oz grilled breast of chicken and 4oz grilled sirloin accompanied by gnocchi
with an asiago cream sauce, shiitake mushrooms, asparagus, and baby carrots
 
VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN OPTION
(Available only to those having indicated this preference on their registration)
Grilled medley of zucchini, yellow squash, red peppers, red onion, and
Portabella mushrooms drizzled with a Balsamic sauce. 
Accompanied by asparagus spears and roasted red potatoes.
 
DESSERT
Warm bread pudding with a bourbon cream sauce and whipped cream
