Learning Spaces Collaboratory Webinar Featuring CUR Executive Board Member Perspectives – May 1st, 2014

The Council on Undergraduate Research is pleased to make you aware of an upcoming webinar offered by the Learning Spaces Collaboratory (LSC), which will feature CUR President Julio Rivera, President-Elect Ami Ahern-Rindell, and Division Director for Physics and Astronomy, Michael Jackson.

The LSC Guide Webinar IV: Exploring Teaching Labs will be held on Thursday, May 1 at 3:30 p.m. EDT.

What is the "job description" for a STEM teaching lab in the undergraduate setting? How does learning happen in a 21st century STEM teaching lab?

These are among questions to be explored in the May 1, 2014 LSC Webinar on STEM Teaching Labs. This webinar, the final in the LSC series on The Ecosystem of Learning Spaces in the Undergraduate Setting, is co-sponsored by the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR).

Please join us. A "silent" PPT, beginning at 3:15 p.m., will set the stage for the webinar.

Note that the registration form invites questions as part of the registration process. Here are responses to LSC webinar FAQs. Registration includes access to a recording of the webinar.
