CUR's 1st CC System Member- Maricopa Community College District

Maricopa Community College District with 10 campuses and 250,000 students has joined CUR as the first community college System Member. Most recently, the system has been engaged with CUR participating in a congressional briefing, "Undergraduate Research at Community Colleges: A Path to Workforce Development and Innovation," and co-authored a chapter in Undergraduate Research Offices & Programs: Models & Practices. Maricopa has also been a participant in the Developing Undergraduate Research at Community Colleges: Tapping the Potential of All Students workshop, collaboration between CUR and the National Council of Institutional Administrators (NCIA) who received a grant from the National Science Foundation’s Course, Curriculum and Laboratory Improvement (NSF-CCLI) program.
