CUR 2002 Workshop Report   Online Grant-seeking Resources   Presenters: Frances Vinal Farnsworth, Middlebury College Linda Freed, University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh Mimi Hutson, Connecticut College   Attendance: 30   The panelists demonstrated three major subscription-based funding databases (Community of Science, IRIS, and SPIN), allowing attendees to see the differences and similarities among them. The panel also demonstrated a selection of the free alert services provided by a variety of funding agencies and nonprofit organizations. In lieu of a handout, participants were pointed to a web site created by the panelists at http://ww.uwosh.edu/grants/cur02 , which has links to the services discussed in the presentation.
