Background:

The purpose of the Membership Committee is to promote membership in CUR, and to review member benefits and services.  The committee makes its recommendations to the Executive Committee and the National Office.  Specifically, the committee suggests ways to increase individual and institutional membership with a focus on increasing all aspects of diversity of CUR membership and improving retention of members.  In addition, the membership committee, reviews dues categories and suggests promotional activities.  The committee assists the National Office in executing membership recruitment and retention strategies.
