Background:

The purpose of the Consulting Committee is to promote and publicize the CUR Consulting Program, to develop formats for consulting activities, to identify and train consultants, and to provide quality control and general overview of the program, working closely with the CUR National Office (the main contact for all CUR reviews) and the Executive Board. CUR Consulting activity includes departmental reviews, which are coordinated through the relevant divisional representative on the committee, divisional reviews, which are coordinated through the Chair of the Committee, and on-campus facilitations and workshops, which are coordinated by the National Office with help from all committee members. The Committee recommends fees for consultants/reviewers to the Executive Board. The Committee develops policies and procedures for reviews conducted under the auspices of CUR, and provides data on the consulting services to the National Office (including a roster of reviewers and information on all contacts concerning reviews).
