Eligibility Requirements
Students must meet the following eligibility requirements to participate in
USRP:

U.S. Citizenship
-
Full-time enrollment in an accredited U.S. college or university
-
Classification as a rising junior or senior after Spring 2002 semester/quarter
-
Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
-
Academic major or concentration in engineering, mathematics, computer science, earth science, or physical/life science
-
Demonstrated strong interest in, or commitment to, one of the above career fields or disciplines (e.g., participation in science/math/engineering fairs or clubs; receipt of prizes or awards; tutoring, mentoring, internships, or other related experiences)
